Internet poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these particular games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players bet against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no conniving or other kinds of bamboozlement. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up before the croupier declares "No further bets." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the different gamblers receive five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the bank’s initial card, you need to either make a call wager or surrender. The call bet’s amount is akin to your beginning bet, indicating that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes instantly to the dealer. After the bet comes the showdown. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand beats the bank’s hand. The casino pays out cash even with your bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for 3 of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- seven to one for a full house
- twenty to one for a four of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
