Internet poker has become globally famous lately, with televised tournaments and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years numerous variants on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling twenty-one than old guard poker, in that the gamblers bet against the casino rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is little concealment or other kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the croupier declares "No more bets." At that point, both you and the bank and of course all of the other gamblers acquire five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s 1st card, you must either make a call bet or give up. The call wager’s amount is equal to your beginning ante, meaning that the risks will have doubled. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantaneously to the house. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is given back, with an amount in accordance with the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out chips even with your original bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These odds are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
