Web poker has become world celebrated lately, with televised championships and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years many variants on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling 21 than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino instead of each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no conniving or different types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up just before the dealer announcing "No more wagers." At that point, both you and the casino and of course all of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you have to either make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning ante, which means that the risks will have doubled. Abandoning means that your bet goes instantaneously to the dealer. After the bet comes the face off. If the bank does not have ace/king or better, your bet is given back, with an amount in accordance with the initial bet. If the bank does have ace/king or better, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pony’s up chips even with your bet and set odds on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for three of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
