Poker has become globally celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. Its popularity, though, stretches back in fact a bit further than its television scores. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to vingt-et-un than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the casino instead of the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or different types of boondoggle. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No further bets." At that point, both you and the bank and of course every one of the other players receive five cards each. Once you have looked at your hand and the dealer’s first card, you must in turn make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s amount is akin to your original ante, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes immediately to the dealer. After the wager is the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a sum in accordance with the ante. If the house has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pony’s up cash equal to your ante and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • fifty to one for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
