Web poker has become globally famous lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game events. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in fact a bit further than its television ratings. Over the years numerous types on the first poker game have been created, including a few games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of these particular games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely affiliated with chemin de fer than long-standing poker, in that the players wager against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little concealment or other types of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the dealer announcing "No further wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers acquire 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the dealer’s 1st card, you need to in turn make a call bet or bow out. The call wager’s amount is akin to your beginning bet, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes directly to the dealer. After the wager comes the face off. If the casino doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus a figure in accordance with the ante. If the bank has a hand with ace/king or better, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The dealer pony’s up money equal to your wager and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- 2-1 for 2 pairs
- 3-1 for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- 5-1 for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
- fifty to one for a straight flush
- 100-1 for a royal flush
